Prayer

105 Gibson Centre -

Please pray for the gathering of Older Adult Services (OAS) Friendly Visit Volunteers on Thursday, November 21st. We are deeply grateful to the social worker from Carefirst who will lead a session on “Managing Emotional Involvement and Coping with the Loss of Clients.” May God bless our team with wisdom as we prepare, and may His presence guide and strengthen our volunteers in their service. We pray that the session brings encouragement and support to all attending.

Need prayer? The Pastoral Team and the Prayer Team are ready to pray for you. Email us here with any prayer requests you may have.

We will also be learning how we can share the gospel through our conversations as well. All high school students (Grade 9-12) are invited to join.

Children's Ministry

Preschool to Grade 8 children can join us for in-person worship as part of Children’s Church every Sunday at 9:45AM. There is no need for pre-registration. Parents can proceed to the second floor reception area to check-in and pick-up their children before (9:45AM) and after (11:00AM) the English Service.

The toddler room is a facility for children to learn more about God through simple interactions with Bible stories and simple praise songs. This will be available for English worship service from 9:30AM - 11:00AM.

The nursery is available during our English service for new parents and infants to use on a self-serve basis, but are more than welcome to join us in the sanctuary as well.

If you are interested in being a part of the preschool teaching staff, please contact Pastor Wesley Lim.

2. Joseph Chu (Africa, SIM Canada)

We are deeply saddened to share the news that Rev. Joseph Chu from SIM Canada, a missionary supported by ACEM, lost his battle with lung cancer and passed away on October 21st, 2024. Rev. Chu devoted his life to God’s mission work since June 1983, demonstrating a profound passion for evangelism and a heartfelt commitment to helping those in need. His life has been an inspiration to all who knew him. We pray that God brings comfort to his family and friends during this difficult time.

3. Henry Lu (UK, COCM)

As the new semester begins, many Chinese international students have arrived in the UK, eager for educational and new opportunities. However, most of them have not yet heard about Jesus. Let’s pray for Henry and his team to be filled with confidence and love, empowering them to share God’s Good News with these students.
